We now know some information about the pricing, we know not a lot more about the scheduling, but we'll give you more information about how the auction is going to go down, and a little more about the actual avatars and the plan for themselves.

Information about CloneX RTFKT

All right, well, before we jump into all the details in this video, I want to show you guys a really cool trailer that just came out today from RTFKT, and it gives you kind of a little bit of an idea of the style and the look and everything that they're going for with these Clone X.

All right, like I said, very cool video. These guys make awesome, awesome quality stuff, so I would expect nothing less.

All right, and let's take a look at this website. As you can see, here we go, here's about the project, Clone X, you've got high quality, high-end avatars, Metaverse ready. For anybody who really wants to have a fancy Metaverse avatar, this is going to be where you get it, 20,000 of them, seven different DNA types, I'm assuming that's got something to do with like the rarity or the little bit of the style of them, but we'll know more probably as we get closer to the drop.

The presale, if you are smart enough that you already own an RTFKT, and you can get a shot at this, congratulations. 0.05 Eth is quite a deal to be able to get one of these avatars. The rest of us are going to be spending a little bit more. And then we got a public sale here, and it says the public sale price to be determined, we are still confirming the price of mint, the public sale will be a Dutch auction where each buyer can purchase three avatars per user's wallet.

Public sale will be a Dutch aution

Dutch auction guys. I don't know if you know what a Dutch auction is, but it basically means you start at a particular price. they haven't officially said it obviously here, but there's a rumor going around the Discord from a number of different people, and it looks like it's probably going to be in the 1 to 3 Eth range. So they are going to start. say, I would not be surprised to see it say 3 Eth for you to show up on the day of this mint, and it'd say 3 Eth. if you want to go ahead and make a purchase at that price, you are welcome to do it. As many people as want to, can, and then after, whatever it is.

10 minutes, it drops to 2.75 Eth, and everybody that wants to buy at that price can, and everybody, or it actually goes ahead and computes it, because you go ahead and put your orders in right away. In the beginning, everybody just says, I’m willing to buy one at 2.25 Eth and lower, and once it hits that price, if there's any left, it triggers you. So these are going to go for a high price, whatever they set it at, I think they'll probably get most people to buy it at what their high end is.

So this is one that if you're trying to get in on it, you know, I have never bought from CloneX RTFKT either, and these guys are like the Dolce & Gabbana of NFT Metaverse wear, their stuff is just really, really amazing, and they charge for it, and can, and they will succeed doing that, they'll do really, really good because they made the quality for it, so hats off to them. And if you want to get in on it, you're going to have to spend a pretty penny. All right?

When Public sale will come?

The CloneX RTFKT release, says, that they don't have a specific date mid-October of ‘21, so we're probably two or three weeks out from this release, and we'll get more information as we get closer. And then the last thing I noticed on here is to keep an eye on launch day, good luck on gas war, they've got something prepped. So they apparently have something figured out to help keep the gas wars down. I assume it's got to do with the way that this Dutch auction is going to process everyone's orders because it's not like a standard minting this way, it's a little different.

What is discord tip bot?

So what really is the tip.cc wallet? So if you're not familiar with it, this is something you're going to find used inside of Discord, and I’m going to jump over and show you how it's using Discord in just a minute. First, I want to talk about the basics of it. One thing you need to know, this is automatically set up for users on their board, so when you set up your Discord account, if you join a board that has the Tip-bot installed, you're going to automatically get your Tip wallet all set up for you without having to do anything. You don't have to put in passphrases, you don't have to have a private key, and you don't have to have any of that information.

Along with that, it's not connected to any of your other wallets, it's not connected to MetaMask. It's not connected to your Trust wallet, it doesn't connect to your ledger. You can transfer funds in and out from it, but it's not a terribly secure wallet obviously. It's sort of a pool where a bunch of different people's tokens are stored, and I’ll explain exactly why it's really useful. But just so you know, don't put a lot of your tokens in here, this is not where you want to store thousands of dollars in tokens. I’ve never heard of it actually being hacked, I’ve never heard of a hack from the Tip-bot, but that doesn't mean that it can't happen, and it doesn't mean you shouldn't play it smart, and just keep most of your coins in your secure wallets. Okay?

One thing that's great about the Tip wallet is right here, it holds 228 different tokens and supports them. That's wonderful, all kinds of different coins, lots of small coins, lots of big coins, lots of community coins, social tokens, and things like that can be possibly used with Discord Tip-bot. But the best parts are down here no minimums and no fees on tips to multiple users with no transaction fees. So that's what makes this really, really useful within the Discord is that when you're having a party in the Discord and you're celebrating the new NFT drop or celebrating a new token drop, and you want to send out a tip to everybody, normally, you're going to hammer with gas fees all over the place for each and every different wallet you send it out to, everything like that. None of that happens with the Discord Tip-bot.

What are the fees using discord tip bot?

There are no fees for sending tips between different users. So you can simply put a post up there to Airdrop it to the next 50 people who click on your link, and boom, as soon as they click on the little emoji there down at the bottom, all 50 of them are going to get a piece of that action, and that's going to cost you nothing. So that's the real, real big advantage to the Discord Tip-bot, why it's grown, why it's so useful, and why it's a great place to keep some of your tokens in there for fun, so you can share them with your friends, you can pass them around.

Well, here I am in my Discord, and, as you can see, I've got all the different Discord boards that I'm a member of listed up here on the left, and I'm going to go to my main one which is LADZ City. This is where I spend most of my time in Discord. If you haven't discovered LADZ City, it is absolutely fantastic community, very helpful, very knowledgeable, it is the city of NFTs, these guys know more about NFTs than anybody you're going to find out there, and usually have the best Alpha drops and the best new information, really, really helpful, very knowledgeable people. Anyway, so now that I’m here, you're going to see I’ve got my list of all the different sub-boards within it, and right over here is one called bot commands.

You'll find this on almost any Discord board that has bots on here, it's got the bot commands. But you can type into this one, certain commands, and the bots, you know, it's not to go to other human beings, it's going to the bots that are following; so for this one, the command I want to type in is BALS, and I’m going to type BALS, and boom, it's going to pull up my balances. Now, this is a quick way to look at how much I have, and, as you can see, I've got a handful of different cryptos. I’ve got some LADZ tokens here, but I’ve also got some Whale tokens, I’ve got a little bit of Ethereum, I’ve got some these Bananas people have sent me.

How to give tips?

So these are different tokens that have been given as tipped to me at different points along the way through being in different Discord boards, through different special events, and I've gone and the tip comes back out of this wallet to other people along the way too. But as you can see, this gives me a quick overview of everything that I have in my wallet. Now, as you can see, just put it on a public board, so this made it so that everybody else can see this. If you don't want to go that way, you can private message the tip.cc bot and request this information and you can get it privately.

So if I do this, and I just type – and so, by clicking on the tip.cc, it pulled up a notification to them, here's where I can privately message it. Now, I no longer have to put the dollar sign at the beginning of the BALS command, because it knows I am talking to this bot. Otherwise, I’m using the dollar sign to signal and say, hey Tip-bot, I’m talking to you. But without the dollar sign in the private messages, I can still get the same thing done. So if I type BALS in here to the Tip-bot, now I’ve got, you can see over here, I’m no longer in LADZ City, I’m over here in what's called Direct Messages, and I’ve got a tip.cc direct message, and boom, there is a list of all my balances having been sent to me as a direct message.

So we go back over here to LADZ City, and you can see it's got that post that I had from before – I think, yeah, I can exit out that way. Now it's gone, it's no longer on that page for everybody else to see. But as you can see, if I go back into my direct messages, I still have that information. So that's how you can communicate privately if you don't want to show what your balance is to everyone if you don't want to put it out there as something public for everyone to be able to see. You can also look at charts for any of these tokens, so if I go back in, let's go back to my LADZ City bot commands, and let's type in the dollar sign ticker LADZ.

What happens when token not listed on CoinGecko?

Boom! And now, it is going to pull up a ticker of the LADZ token. You can see that's what's been going on with the LADZ token. It's 0.18, it's been moving like this, but like I had Bananas in my thing, so if I type in dollar sign ticker bananas, oh, looks like that is not listed on CoinGecko, so it can't pull that up. There you go. So it's going to pull them up where it can from CoinGecko. If it can't, it's not going to, if the token is not listed, and apparently the Bananas' token is not listed on CoinGecko. So anyway, that's how you can find out information about the movement and prices and different things of the tokens that you have in your wallet.

On top of the basic commands I’ve already shown you, you also have the ability to both deposit and withdraw funds from your wallet. Now, this will have some gas fees with it. This is the point at which you're no longer functioning just within the little Tip-bot ecosystem, but you're moving out there and working on the Ethereum blockchain, so you're going to be paying some ERC gas fees. Okay? But in order to do that, the easiest way is to do it from that private message with your Tip-bot. I do believe you can do it by using the dollar sign commands and do get in the bot commands, but you're going to be pasting your wallet addresses and things in there.

I just think it's much smarter and safer to try to keep that stuff as quiet as you can. So if I wanted to make a deposit into my Tip-bot, I would head over here to my tip.cc, and as you can see, I actually started this video a few days ago, and you can see I had a problem where it said, we are temporarily out of Ethereum deposit addresses, LADZ deposit addresses. I was trying a few different ones just to see if I get any of them to work. I ended up having to reach out to NFTYQ who's the head of our board of the LADZ board, and he was able to reach out and get the Tip-bot guys to get some more addresses.

Making deposit with discord tip bot

So if you run into that, go to the mods on your board, let them know what's happening, and they'll reach out to tip.cc and get more of them. I don't think it's a very common thing, but just one more quirky thing I ran into. All right? So now if I wanted to make a deposit, I would simply put the deposit, and then the token that I wanted to deposit. So I want to deposit LADZ, let's say, boom, deposit LADZ, and the Tip-bot is going to write back to me, and it's going to say, a deposit fee of around $21.72 will be deducted from your deposit. This is based on what current gas fees are, that's what it's going to be, it's going to be a portion of gas fees.

Now, I don't know if you're going to also pay an additional Ethereum gas fee, I’m not going to spend $21 right now to deposit these tokens in my account, I have enough LADZ tokens in my Tip-bot right now. But if I was doing it, this is what I would do, I would type that deposit LADZ, and then, you can see here it's got my ERC20 address down at the bottom, I would copy that, I would put it into my MetaMask or whatever exchange wallet, whatever I wanted to transfer my LADZ tokens out of, and I would send them on over to here. As I said, there may be an additional fee on that end, I’m not entirely sure, but be careful as well, these addresses change.

So I know sometimes they crack, and they like to store and save or I think even Gemini does as well, they like to store and save your wallet addresses for you to repeatedly send it out to you. Do not do that if you're using the Tip-bot. The Tip-bot rotates through and changes the addresses from time to time. Here it says valid for only seven days, please recheck your address when making a deposit. So if you simply stored it in your exchange and tried to resend it to that same address, you might be sending them to someone totally different. Anytime you're making a deposit in your Tip-bot, go back here, and do it this way.

How to Withdraw?

Just like deposit, you have a withdrawal command, so withdraw LADZ, and it says it wants me to enter a destination address. So it's not asking me to pay any gas fees or anything yet. I'm going to go through with this, and paste my address in. How much LADZ would you like to withdraw? Let's say, I want to withdraw 10 LADZ. You cannot afford a LADZ withdrawal now, the fee for this withdrawal is 3329 LADZ, $643. I have no idea why it's trying to charge me $643 to withdraw my LADZ, that's pretty insane. I know gas fees are high right now, but wow, that's kind of through the roof.

Anyway, so I’m glad I’m not going to go through and do it, but this just shows you what you can do. Once again, the most common thing that you're going to find is that just keep a little bit of that in there, and you're going to use it to tip people, and Tip people are going to tip you. So now that you understand the basics of how to pull in and out some tokens, I want to go over how to actually tip, and what the different Tip commands are. As far as the different kinds of tipping go, there are a few different syntaxes that you can use.

Different kinds of Tip commands

The first one that you can do is an Airdrop. Airdrop, instead of just a direct tip to someone else, or a tip to a group of people, Airdrop is kind of a way of sprinkling it, it's useful if you're using it at a party. Basically, it will put an emoji up there that anybody who clicks on it, will get a portion of that tip that you're giving out. So the syntax for this is going to be Airdrop with a $1 sign, and then you're going to put the amount of time that you want that Airdrop to remain valid, you're going to put the user limit, the number of people that are going to be available for the Airdrop, and it's going to split that amount of money between them all.

We're going to do a small one – there's not a lot of action going on, on my board right now, but I’ll show a few of these off. So let's do Airdrop, we'll do two LADZ, and we're going to do 3m, which is three minutes. I'm saying Airdrop two LADZ to anyone in the next three minutes and a user limit is two, so they can each get one LADZ. I type that in, hit enter – all right, somebody on the board just pointed out to me that I typed in dorp instead of drop. Let's try that again with the correct... what I have here is dollar sign Airdrop 2 LADZ, three minutes, two people, and if I hit enter, boom, there we go, the Airdrop pops up.

Now, you can see right here Crypto Stamina has replied with one of them, so they've got one of my LADZ by clicking on it, and now Hash Rhymes has replied with the other one. So both of the two people that I gave a LADZ out to, just got in – Crypto Stamina, you can see he's right here, and Hash Rhymes, they both got Airdrop. Now, if we had a big party with 200 people in, it can be really fun, it can get a lot of attention to your post that you're putting up there by putting an Airdrop of 50 LADZ and putting 50 people and letting people get involved in it. So it's a great way to celebrate and kind of share a bunch, share your tip with a whole bunch of different people.

Direct Tipping Command

For the next one, which is direct tipping, you're going to use a dollar sign tip, and then you're going to say the users that you want to tip it to and the amounts. Now, users can be different, it doesn't have to be just a specific person, you can, I could say have a dollar sign tip, Hash Rhymes, and a certain amount, and boom, do a direct tip to that person. But you can also tip a you can tip, you know, meaning for LADZ City, we have Miners, we have Nobles, we have Creators, we have Council Members, we have different roles throughout the Discord board.

So I could tip only the creators, and I could tip a certain amount to them. Or I can also tip at here, people that are currently active in that Discord channel. or active, which is going to get people that have been active, and I can put a time, active in the last 10 minutes, so anyone who's posted something recently in the last 10 minutes. So those are kind of the options that I can do when I do a tip. Let's do a few of them. Let's start with a tip, and we're going to go for Crypto Stamina, and we're going to tip Crypto Stamina one LADZ. Enter. Boom! 808dave sent Crypto Stamina one LADZ. I’ve now tipped that person one LADZ coin.

The next one I’m going to do is a tip for a role. I’ve got hashtag tip @Noble, and then I want to say, as I said, when you type the @, you find it'll pull things up, it'll pull up a list of people that you can do it too, or your role, so @Noble, so I’m going to say, I want to tip any Noble one LADZ. Enter. And they each get part of a LADZ because those are our list of all the different Nobles, so all those people will get tipped some LADZ because I tipped it to all the Nobles. The other one you can do is the actives, so let's do a tip... And I’m getting some thank yous from this because I don't think anybody knows why I’m doing all this tipping, but I’ll explain to them in just a minute.

Conclusion

All right, and so, that sent out, as you could see, just this list of a few people here, these are the people who are active, who have been actively participating in the Discord board. So that's a few different kinds of LADZ tips, like, you can see, I can do an Airdrop tip, I can do a tip to a specific person, I can do a specific role, or I can do a tip to everybody that's active in there. Now, when it comes to the last part, where I was putting in the @LADZ, I can also put some other different things in there. I could put @whale if I wanted to tip to the Whales. I could also put a fiat, and it will convert it into the local token, which is LADZ for it right there.

So these are just some options, and that allows me to do it. So the last thing I’m going to show you in here is the monikers. Monikers are a way of tipping that's kind of fun, tip a donut, tip a cup of coffee, sip a beer, and it'll automatically translate it into a certain amount of those tokens. So if I go into the bot commands here, and type monikers, this is going to give me a list of all the monikers that work on this particular board.

As you can see, I’ve got a few different things, quarter, dime, cookie. So let's do a cookie tip, all right? So let's go back to our NFT chat, and let's do hashtag tip active, so I’m saying I’m going to tip, I want to tip everybody who's active, and I want to tip one cookie. As you can see, each of these people has been sent as part of a LADZ based on the value of what a cookie is. Cookie was worth 30 cents, so it split up that between all these different people.

What is Bitlectro Dreamers Project?

All right guys, well, I hope you enjoyed that, that was a little music video that Bitlectro put together for this new Bitlectro Dreamers launch – it does a great job of kind of giving you an idea of their style, their energy, kind of, where they're coming from, as well as giving you a little preview of some of the things that are to come. So let's go over everything there is to know about this NFT drop, which is coming up soon. So here are the Dreamers, I’m not going to go over the background story behind them. If you want to hop on their Medium board or their webpage and read about them, you're more than welcome to do it. But basically, the Bitlectro Dreamers are going to be a series of 16-bit NFTs with eight-bit music loops that go with each.

So it's a combination of a video and audio track that go together for each of them. And you can see, some of the styles that they go with on their NFTs, it's that eight-bit pixelated style, but some really creative and unique traits. And there's going to be two phases to this. So the first phase is for anybody who currently owns their Dreamloops, which was the first NFT that they released, I’ll show you a little bit about that in just a second, but if you own at least two Dreamloops, you get automatically whitelisted in to get a Dreamers NFT. So you're still going to have to pay for it, but you're not going to have to get into gas war, you're not going to have to battle with everybody for it.

And this, if you're interested in joining Bitlectro Dreamers project, it's a very, very good choice for you, because we're still early enough that you can have some at a reasonable price and have a chance to be in a whitelisted spot. After that, then once they're taking a snapshot, basically, what they're going to do between the 8th of October through the 14th of October, they're going to do a snapshot of where all of their Dreamloops are, and as long as you have two of them in a wallet, then that wallet gets whitelisted to make a purchase. They're going to allow those people to make their purchases without fighting for gas, then they're going to do a public sale.

When its going to happen?

So the public sale is coming in mid-October, I don't think they've set an exact date on it, I will update you. But you've got early October for the snapshot, mid-October for that, so everything is still a month away. You've got some time to think about this and see if you want to do it. What exactly you're going to be able to do with these NFTs?. Well, there's a game you probably saw a little bit of that in the video where the two characters were battling a battle arena, as well as there's going to be Metaverse avatars for the Sandbox, so that's an excitement when you saw that Voxel style of character rotating on the screen during that video, that's what all about. Those are gonna the Voxel-style avatars you're going to get. So it's a pretty good amount of value you're getting for these NFTs.

All right? So I mentioned earlier that if you had their original Dreamloops NFTs, you would have an automatic shot into this one with the whitelist, so let's take a look over here on OpenSea, this is where their Dreamloops are, you can see that this is checkmarks, so this is their official Dreamloops profile. And I went ahead and pulled up the buy it now options just to see what I could pick up quickly, and you can see 0.06, some getting up into the 0.07 Eth, so nothing too crazy. For 0.2 Eth, you can pull together gas fees probably and pick up two of these, and that can make you whitelisted into the next one. So if this is an NFT that you're interested in, that's actually a pretty reasonable entry point for most NFTs.

Now, obviously, with all of these types of projects lately, what's been a concern for people has been the rug pulls. I know there have been quite a few rugs pulls, where they say, hey, we're going to make this great game and this great infrastructure, and then they just take off into the dark. Well, I'm going to show you why I am so confident that Bitlectro Dreamers will not do this, obviously, not financial advice, not telling you what to do with your money, but why I truly believe that they're here to stay, and they're going to work through it, there are two major reasons. Number one, when I pull over Bitlectro on my Twitter profile, I see a list of 37 or 38 of the people that I’m following on Twitter are also following Bitlectro Labs. That's extraordinarily high.

How to check if project is legit?

Now, I have gone ahead and curated my Twitter feed to help me pick NFTs, so I learned this from someone who's a wiser NFT buyer than me. I said, how do you know when a project sometimes looks legit. He goes, it's hard to tell. He's like, but if a whole bunch of people that I respect are following it, then there's a really good chance that it's a legitimate project. Well, that is an outrageous number. For most projects, I can't get more than eight or 10 matched up. When I’ve got 35 matched up, that just tells me it's really a legitimate project. And then the second even bigger one is that they are a sponsor, Bitlectro Labs is a sponsor on NFT Live which is a show on Discord on the LADZ City Discord.

So you're not going to come out and spend money to advertise and be a sponsor on a big crypto channel and reach an audience like LADZ City, if you're going to turn around and rug pull. So I really am confident that these guys are going to build out, and are going to complete all the things they say, going to have those Sandbox style NFTs that you're seeing on the screen and things like that. And that's going to make this a really valuable drop to be a part of.

LADZ City Interview with Fun Uncle

David: All right, aloha guys, welcome, I'm David here with Crypto Tutorials. I got one of my fellow LADZ City lads here – if you don't know LADZ City, it's the city of NFTs, and I’ve got Fun Uncle here with me. I'll be doing LADZ City Interview with him. He's an OG crypto trader, going to share some advice with us – but would you like to introduce yourself and kind of let people know where they can find you?

Richard: Well, Aloha back to you, hello, my Hawaiian friend. My name is Richard Kilpatrick, I’m your neighborhood funnel, and I am just a cryptocurrency enthusiast just like you, and please join LADZ City, that is the forum for everything, cryptocurrency, NFTs, and that's where we learn all the special sauce on getting it done in the trading world.

David: Awesome. Why did you get into crypto, how did you end up here?

Richard: 2016, I didn't know anything about the coin, what I was doing at the time was, in this line of work, in video production, you don't make a lot of money. I look at people working in high-end restaurants as waiters, and I'm like, wow, you make a lot of money because you're not working all the time, and when you do, it's 18 hours a day, and they maybe pay you 125 bucks for it, but you're just stoked because you're working on a commercial or whatever. And so, you don't make a lot of money, I was just like, in between gigs, just like, how can I make money, and I was just doing the Google like, what are ways entrepreneurs can make money, and it was mostly like driving for Uber, or I don't think DoorDash existed then.

How did Fun Uncle went into Crypto?

And then, one of them was Bitcoin mining, and at the time, it was about $600 a coin. So, I bought a Bitcoin miner, and it was, I think – and that was one of the most expensive things I'd ever bought at the time, it was 1000 bucks or something just for the miner, and then another 250 bucks to convert the power for it. And I was making, man, I’m probably going to kill myself to do the math on this, but I was making 0.06 Bitcoin a week. And now, that's a lot of money, but this is 2016, and so, I remember looking at the numbers and being like, I’m only making $20 a week.

David: So that's like three Bitcoin a year though.

Richard: Right.

David: So yeah, you convert it to today's money, you're looking at 150 grand a year you'd have been making with that amount.

Richard: Right. And I was like not that – it wasn't as enticing to me, because at that point it was 20 bucks a week, and so, I ended up accruing close to a Bitcoin. And then, I was able to sell the machine, and then buy some GPU miners, and I started mining Ethereum, and I mined about, maybe 10 of those. But you just kind of see, like, it was just a slow progression for me that I just got deeper and deeper and deeper into, starting in 2016. And then by 2017, that rally rolled around, I was fully in, and then, I've got the scars to prove it. 

I was the guy that bought Ethereum at the top too, because I was just daily cost averaging, keep buying, keep buying, buy at the top. I saw the 90% drops, and the whole time in my mind being like, it's going to go back up, it's going to go up. But very painful four years, and it's kind of like, we're back, like, this is exhilarating for everybody, we're finally back.

Strategy of hold and trade?

David: So you were talking a little bit about your strategy as not as much a Hodler as a trader, and kind of give me a little rundown of how you ended up deciding that that was the way you were going to make money in crypto, and kind of what that means to you.

Richard: Well, I think the core strategy is the momentum of money. It's being able to use the entirety of your volume, instead of just – it's hard to say what I’m trying to think here is. For example, I used to own a lot of Ripple, and I sold out of my Ripple – and again, I’m talking about, this is 2017, I owned a lot of Ripple.

David: So it's like, what, five cents or something?

Richard: Right. But I got out around – so, I think I bought it at 15 cents, and then I sold it when it was maybe closer to $1, maybe let's say 80 cents, just to be safe. And sure, it rallied since then, but if we look at the long track record of it, it's kind of stayed relatively where – it hasn't been broken into all time highs yet, and I've then been able to go on and make additional money on top of that money by putting it in a more lucrative asset. It's like a promising Altcoin, for example, I’m looking at Hedera Hashgraph right now as a low tier your cap coin, and I think to myself all the time.

I’m like, Ethereum has potential to 3x this year, Hedera Hashgraph has the potential to 10x this year. And so, should I – and this is even up, Well, before I even turned on the camera, I was thinking about this today, it's just like, I was like, the potential of liquidating some Ethereum, and putting it into Hedera Hashgraph by the end of this year could yield me an additional 3x on top of my money.

Worst and best move made in crypto

David: One thing I want to find out for sure, so what is the worst move that you made in crypto, and what is the best move, and you don't, by any means, have to give me because I know that could be private, but just to kind of, I think, everybody – we all have battle scars, but to learn from other people, both their wins and their losses to me is really valuable.

Richard: It was recently, I had my worst loss, but – well, it's interesting how to say it, it was the worst loss in total value, but from a percentage of my entire net worth, that's a different conversation, but like, it was the largest sum of money I’ve lost at one time, and it was from margin trading. And so, what I did was whenever Bitcoin went from 64,000, then dropped to 45,000, I bought a bunch of longs.

I said to myself, I’m like, that was the dip, and because it had done a bunch of dips, it'd gone from 65 to then 55, and it dipped to 45, and I was just like – and then, it had done a false double bottom too, and I was just like, that’s the bottom, buy a bunch of leveraged longs on Bitcoin. And then to 29,000, and it liquidated me, completely liquidated me, because I had so much leverage on it. I was just like, okay, we learn.

David: It's funny, because I’m on a much, much smaller scale as I get started here, but margin, I have had the worst luck too with margin. When I tried – and mine wasn't even – mine was just in KuCoin, they have some 3x margin coins, where it's just basically built-in, you buy the coin, and it goes up three times, 10%, 30% in either direction. And for some reason, every time I try to pick something that way, I just get my butt kicked. It's like the gods just keep coming down on me, like, don't do it. Because I’m kind of a debt-free person in my life outside of that, so I think that growing margin is against my karma...

Understanding margins

Richard: as much as it hurt, it really hurt in the moment too, like, knocked the wind out of me kind of thing, and I was just like, I need to tell people about this, because it wasn't even like – I think I had 10x leverage, and so, some of these sites let you do 100x leverage.

David: Oh god, I know it's crazy. And it's interesting because, to me, I think that's both the cause and the flaw in the parabolic side of crypto. I think more than anything, when things start going parabolic is because a bunch of leverage traders have decided we're going to keep going up and they pour money in, and then somebody with a bunch goes, ha-ha, I’m going to liquidate you, and sells a bunch they can buy back in cheap, and you just keep seeing that like...

Richard: Oh yeah. And there's people at war with each other too, like, there's different institutions that want to tank the market, but they're like, no, but it's my turn to tank the market; no, but I want to tank the market this way. And it's all an attempt to acquire more coin for themselves. And that's why I have shifted away from that, just like now just trying to, you know, when I make these trades, it's all in the vein of, yeah, how much relative Ethereum or relative Bitcoin have I grown in value in doing that trade.

David: Your best move?

Richard: Oh yeah, buying Ethereum at $15, it was when I first bought it.

David: Picked up quite a bit of it at that price, and stuck with it for a long time, and nice.

Richard: Oh yeah.

David: Yeah, nice. Ethereum is a nice long play. I missed the early days with a lot of that, but I still, I'm fortunate to be here early when I am, and we'll see, get some early NFTs.

NFT Investing Guide

Well, if you're really new to this world, you may be wondering really what are NFTs. I mean, the most simple answer is that they're pieces of information stored on a blockchain saying that you own an asset, a digital asset. In most cases, those digital assets are things like JPEGs, your little movie files, usually, some sort of a piece of artwork similar to these – these are the Bored Ape Yacht Club, we'll talk about them in a minute, they're a huge NFT that's blown up. But they mean more than just ownership of a piece of art, and that's where this whole thing gets really interesting. So why are we talking about it now? Well, let's take a look over here at this article's most recent, 800% growth in NFT sales for August, month over month. Look at this graph, you're talking about a pretty insane jump.

Suddenly, NFTs have gone from being something kind of in the background, on the fringe a little bit and interesting thing, to holy moly, these are a big deal. The money coming into them is insane. In 2020, OpenSea did 21 million total transaction volumes. In last two days, we did 95 million. The growth curve for NFTs is insane, and it's true, that's why I want to talk about them because the growth curve for them is insane. Now, I know for lot of people who are investing in crypto, they're going why would I invest in an NFT, this doesn't make any sense, I’m not an art collector, I don't like this art or whatever, I’m only into trying to make money, I’m investing in crypto to make money. Well, trust me there are opportunities to make money in NFTs, and that's why I’m so interested in this.

What is nft?

Now, just to be clear, an NFT is really not that different from a token, they call it the fungibility, meaning an NFT is non-fungible, while a regular token is fungible. What does that mean? It means that a dollar is a dollar, it doesn't matter if it's my dollar, the one at the bank, or the one that you have in your own home, they're all the same. With an NFT, it's not, each one is unique and individual. When we looked at a class, a group like that Bored Ape Yacht Club, each of these has different attributes. You can even go in and see on one of them the rarity of the attributes, so 3% have a sailor shirt, and 5% have these 3D glasses for their eyes.

So each of them is unique, each one of these is individual and unique. But what we're doing now is we're actually using NFTs to sort of replace tokens in certain situations, so if you were going to open a new project, and you wanted to do regular cryptocurrency tokens, there's a whole bunch of headaches, there's a whole bunch of SEC regulations, you have the government coming down talking about how they're going to tax different things, they're talking about different regulations from this country and that country, you have to have KYC, know your customers and all that. When you sell a piece of digital art, none of that. When you sell a piece of digital art, whatever happens after that, it's up to you and them, and it goes on.

Now, projects like this, like Bored Ape Yacht Club, are building out an entire community, they've done multiple rounds of sales, and they have exclusive areas in the Metaverse where you can go out and be a part of their community, and go to special events only if you own this token, be involved in special new drops only if you own this token, play games if you own one of their – I keep saying token, but it's a non-fungible token. If you own their NFTs, you can do all these different things. So if you're going to build out this kind of community, going with NFTs might be a much easier way to do it.

Key projects of NFT Investing Guide

Another thing that comes into play, as I said, is that they're unique and individual, so that means that if I happen to own this NFT and I decide to sell it, I may never see it again. Now that helps cut down on some of the pump and dump, at least, in theory, and we're seeing it somewhat in practice so far – people are a little less likely to just run from their NFT when the price starts to shift, because they know they can't get it back, they can't get that exact one back, and people like the things they own, they get attached to them. So I think these are some of the key reasons why NFTs matter and why they're important.

Now, I want to look at some of the key projects of NFT investing guide that are out there and do a few numbers and see how this is driving some things in this market. And here's that site, opensea.io that we're talking about, the one that's absolutely gone bananas. This is the biggest NFT site, although there are some other pretty major ones. This one tends to focus on the Ethereum blockchain, more NFTs are on Ethereum than anywhere else right now. It also handles a little bit of Polygon Matic NFTs as well, which are starting to pick up because a lot of the gas problems that we're seeing around are resulting from these NFTs, and from some of these NFT drops, and we'll talk about that a little more here in just a second.

But just go over a quick overview of OpenSea, you got your different markets for different things, our domain names, collectibles. What we're going to focus on right now is some of the stats and the rankings. This is going to show us the top NFT projects right now, and the number one is this here called Loot for Adventurers. If you haven't seen this, you are bound to get a chuckle when you see what this project is all about. But before we look at it – let's look real quick. Here's the volume, 53,000 Eth, so $4000 in Ethereum, you're talking $200 million. Just to be clear, this project is about a week old. It's not been out very long at all.

What can you get for 50 grand?

It suddenly just came out of nowhere and blew up and everybody got FOMO and everybody got into it, and before you know it, they were selling for a floor price of 14 or 13, it looks like it's down to, 13 Eth, almost $4000 in Ethereum, 50 grand each. What are you going to get for 50 grand? Let's take a look at Loot for Adventurers real quick. For $50,000, you get this. I’m not joking. A black piece of paper with a list of white words on it. That is what's selling for $59,127.56 right now. If you want that for $59,000, you can buy a black image with words that are white. Why is this happening? Well, because there's an entire community being built around this.

There are some really good players in the NFT space that started this, they're connected, and they're going to be building an entire game and community and everything around all of these different things. So if somebody owns this, they're going to own a Short Sword, the Plague Root Crown of Skill, and the Dragonskin Belt, and a Gold Ring. And the community's going to get to decide what this looks like and what it is and how it plays into the game. I think it's a really interesting project and building through community and building from the ground up, but literally, these things, people were minting them for nothing. They just had to pay the gas fee when it first came out, and now it's worth $60,000.

What is NFT Space doing now?

This is what the NFT space is doing right now, and it's doing it a lot for creators, artists, people like that – it used to be that when you wanted to make money on intellectual property, you had to create Hanna-Barbera or whatever, Disney, and you had to create characters and merchandise and all these things. This has flipped it on its head the opposite way. You can come up with the idea for the Bored Apes or the – let's see what another one of these is that's going crazy right now. CryptoPunks is an old one, that's why that one is there.

But Bored Apes is a great example of it, they're the ones that's really got it going on, but you can come up with this idea for these different NFTs and it looks like these ones you haven't even gotten to see what they are, this must be a new one. They do this a lot, keep it mysterious until a date when they reveal them. But you come up with the story of what these things are, these AlCabones, and this world they're going to live in, and you're going to make comics and games and all that, and you go out and sell these things before you create that stuff. Now you make $20 million on your sale, and you go back and build out the community, and if you do a good job of building up the community, up goes the value of the thing.

Another insane one is the Stoner Cats, so this one happened a couple of weeks ago, a month ago, something like that. These are selling now in the $2 and $3000 range for these NFTs right now on OpenSea. But if you look at this, look who's in this cast with it, if you don't know it, that’s the guy, founder of Ethereum. You got some famous actors. You got Chris Rock, and Jane Fonda, all involved in this project. This is an NFT art project. They created NFTs, they sold them, they're making cartoons, if you want to be a part of it, if you want to watch the show, you need to own the NFT.

If you want to be part of this Stoner Cat world, you need to own one of these NFTs. So it's flipped creating and making new art, and making new intellectual properties upside down. And, as I said, it took away all the problems and regulations you had with fungible tokens by making their art.

What is Aurory project?

Another project that I recently tried to become a part of is this one here called Aurory. Now Aurory is a play-to-earn NFT-based game. It's not out yet, it's got some cool video trailers, and it's got a great community. And been growing and growing. It's on Solana blockchain, and it's a really, really exciting project that's coming out. So they did an NFT drop, they did an NFT drop earlier this week, and it was the skins basically, the look of your avatar character within the game that you were getting for this. It was apparently no functionality, I think there are going to be some things that the NFT owners are going to get down the road. But these were selling for five SOL, five Solana coins at the time, and at that time, Solana was about 120 bucks, it's gone up a little since then.

So it was $600 to get in on one of these, but I had seen the community, I knew I wanted to be a part of this, so I was there at 4:45, I was up at five-o'clock, I'm connected, I’ve got my wallet, I’ve got everything set up on there, and I’m clicking away. Let's take a look at where those NFTs are right now. These are the most recent sales on Solana art, and you can see they're selling for 100, some of them are even selling for 1000, some of the really rare looking ones, 80 for that one. So something that you would put $600 into a week ago is now selling for $11,000 on the low end, some of these are selling for $100,000 in a week. Crazy 1000x, 100x appreciation on a project like this one, and why? Because they were impossible to get.

NFTs Sold out in blink of seconds

Yeah, I was sitting up and was clicking the very split second it happened, but between the time that the signal went from my comb to the Amazon web server and actually got through, they were sold out. They sold 10,000 of these in three seconds, that's what the developers reported, they sold out the entire 10,000 of them. They had 350,000 IP addresses on the website trying to get these when they dropped, most of us did not get them, we were trying our butts off, and that's why they're worth so much on the secondary marketplace because there was a frenzy to buy them. It was nearly impossible. As I said, everything I had was ready and lined up and I didn't get one, I didn't get one. But had I, wow, and I'll talk about an investment, you know, that would have been an unbelievable investment.

Let's think this through. There were 350,000 people that were sitting there waiting to buy – oh, by the way, instead of selling for five Solana, they had an error in the contract, you got them for one Solana. So what a steal that was, you actually paid 120 bucks not 600, but whatever. Let’s think though, that you have 350,000 people that are sitting there on this site waiting to buy these the moment that they drop. Each of them has to have five Solana plus a tiny bit for gas, gas is very cheap on Solana on their website in order to have a chance at this auction. 350,000 people, five Solana each.

Solana was about $120 at the time, that's $200 million in Solana in wallets sitting, waiting for this NFT drop. Why do you think some of these coins are taking off and moving the way they are? This project drove $200 million into Solana wallets, I mean, some probably were already there, but an awful lot of people I know, picked up a Solana wallet just because they wanted a chance at this project. So NFTs are driving blockchains in ways they never had before with projects like this.

Conclusion on NFT Investing Guide

Lastly, if you are not convinced yet, here's CoinGecko. CoinGecko has had an NFT tab. They added an NFT tab, they show the top projects, they show what the floor prices are, what the changes are, just like a regular fungible token because they see it too. These are not any different than fungible tokens. Well, I shouldn't say they're not as different as we think of them. People look at them and say that they're NFTs, and regular tokens are just miles apart, and they're not. They're mirror images of the same thing but with different properties. So I hope this has been helpful.

To me, I think that seeing these are some of the best investments coming around, don't get me wrong, I’m trying to get in on some early stage buys with some of these, I see these really cool, different tokens that are dropping and things like that, and I’ll keep talking about those. But in the meantime, I have a handful of these different NFT drops that I think are exciting, and if I get in on one of them, it might just be a home run for me. Phantom Wallet Extension Solana Guide

Well, here we are on Solana's documentation website. So, as we see, there's a guide on the left here, and it shows Solana Wallet Guide. That's what I’m going through to choose from. So if you look at the bottom, you'll see both app wallets and web wallets. I do most of my DeFi work on my PC, so I think that web wallet is much easier than doing it on my phone. But whatever you need, they're both available. Now Phantom is the one that I have had recommended personally to me by friends, so that's the one that I’m going to be setting up today.

I have no idea of the quality or features that are available in any of these other wallets; maybe down the road, I’ll give them a try and set them up too, but for now, I’ve heard really good things about the Phantom web wallet, so that's what I’m going to be putting on my computer. We're going to set it up for Chrome. And there it is in the Chrome Web Store offered by Phantom, number one Solana wallet. We're going to add this extension. All right, and I am making a brand new web wallet. Now, if you've had one before, and you're recovering for some reason, you need to just use the secret recovery phrase, you put that back and recreate your wallet if you had a computer crash or something.

But for someone that does not have one, you're going to create a new wallet. And I want to copy my secret phrase. All right, I’ve got my password chosen and saved. I’m going to agree to my terms of service. When I save it, you can open the key – oh, here you go, there's a nice keyboard shortcut if you need to open the web wallet, and I don't need to follow you on all the other social media sites for now. So I’m going to go over here, and I’m just going to pin that Phantom Wallet Extension Solana in my Chrome browser right now, because I know I’m going to want to access it. And there it is, it's all nicely loaded up. Now, I need to deposit some Solana tokens or send them from a wallet or an exchange.

Get Confirmed on Kraken

FTX has a lot of stuff, if you're using FTX, they got a direct integration into it. Mine I have is on Kraken, so that's where I’m going to get mine from. There it is, there's my wallet address. Let's go log into Kraken. All right, and here we are. Now, we've got, as you can see, I’ve got little over 15 SOLs that are in my Kraken account, and I want to send this out. So if you haven't done it before, you have to add an address confirmed in Kraken. They're a little bit particular just to try to watch out for you, and make sure you don't send it off to some non-existent address. So let's go back and make sure we've got our Solana wallet address copy pasted into there – actually paste it into here. And this is the description, so...

Hey, and as part of that, I had to go in and do a little confirmation in my email just for them to make sure that this really was me adding a wallet address to Kraken. Now, I want to do a withdrawal. So the withdrawal fee is 0.01 SOL, right now they're about $70, so that's about 70 cents, 75 cents. So very inexpensive, not a whole lot to remove it, so what I'm going to go ahead and do is I'm going to send one SOL out to the wallet and make sure that that transaction goes through correctly. Actually, just do like half, let's do half, 0.5, will be 0.5. It'll charge me the same fee, I’ll get 0.49 SOL, which is $35 worth or something.

And then, once I make sure that it's there, I’ll go back in and I’ll move the rest. When I've been used to a wallet and I've been using it for a little while, I never do this, I check the numbers and I have trust in that. But whenever I start up with a new wallet, I always make sure to test the first currency exchange, or if I'm moving it out of a new exchange, if it's a process I haven't done before, basically, give it a test. It's a very smart thing because if you mess it up, nobody's going to help you out. Tough luck.

Solana is fast blockchain

Okay, anyway, so let's do a withdrawal that much. Let's continue and, yes, two factors, all right, withdrawal successfully submitted. Now, we just have to see how long till we get some Solana. Now, this will be very, very fast. One of the things about Solana is that it' is a very fast blockchain, it can handle a large number of transactions per second, and they're supposed to be able to handle them quite quickly. So I expect this to show up fast. While I’m waiting for this to show up, I’m just going to show you a few quick extra things in the Solana wallet.

First of all, already built to handle NFT collectibles, very unusual when it comes to web wallets. Most web wallets can't do it most of the time. You have to, like, my MetaMask, I have some NFTs in it, and I can only see them from my phone, I can't see them in my MetaMask on my desktop. And then, it's got some integrations in it already for going ahead and swapping and making exchanges. It's got a list of what recent activity you've done, and then your settings at the end. So pretty handy setup.

Well, it just went through, my transfer, as you can see down here, in my Kraken account, and switched to sending for the status, and when I pull up my Phantom web wallet, sure enough, boom, 0.49 Solana, there's the current value of my Solana it says, so not sure what period, if that's 24 hours probably, that sounds about right with what's been going on lately.

Anyways, so that's it, that's all that it takes to set up a Phantom Wallet Extension Solana and to get the currency in there. Now I’m going to hop on to Raydium and kick up some Ray tokens and get my Ray token staked and ready for the upcoming Star Atlas IDO, let me try to see if I can get in on the Star Atlas IDO. What is RTFKT Akira NFT Project?

All right, so here we are on the Twitter page of RTFKT Studios, and you can see right here at the top their pinned tweet is about this avatar project that was coming out, it's been codenamed Akira right now. So full 3D avatars, custom modeling on all the trades, really high-end quality focused, meant for the Metaverse, dedicated site coming out. This is kind of the quick overview that they're giving everyone on Twitter. If you're not familiar with RTFKT Studios, let me give you a little kind of rundown of them. Over here, this is an article from Bloomberg that was recently put out, and this talked about the spring, when RTFKT led a – sold 600 pairs of digital sneakers for $3.1 million.

This is the company that's doing this project, RTFKT Akira NFT, a couple of different guys, they formed this group during COVID, they've been in the Metaverse for a long time, into gaming, and a lot of that side of stuff. And they've moved on to doing Metaverse clothing. So they sold these shoes, they were a Digi-physical good, you got both ends of it, but $3 million it was sold then. Since then, they've raised money from Andreessen Horowitz, they've got venture capital into them; and they've even grown and added things like a partnership with Snapchat so that if you happen to buy one of their digital footwear or one of their pieces of clothing, you can actually wear it over yourself as a Snapchat sort of skin.

All right? So that's kind of a quick rundown of who RTFKT is, just so you know, this is not some newcomer to the NFT space, these guys have been here for a while and they've had a lot of success this year already. But the project that they have coming up right now is RTFKT Akira NFT, and this is kind of a quick rundown of RTFKT. Let's take a look at one of there – this is one of the digital 3D modeling's for one of the heads on their projects. But as you can see, they have a series of avatars that are coming out, very unique, very detailed, very, very high-quality art. These guys don't mess around.

There are many custom avatars

You can tell that every one of them is truly custom and unique, and well thought out and color schemes and textures and everything, the details of it, these guys – their artwork is fantastic. Everything that they do, their work is absolutely topnotch, they're topnotch digital artists. But now, they're making avatars. Up until now, mostly they've been focused on Metaverse clothing, shoes, some jackets, hats, and things like that, but four avatars are coming out, and this can be a big seller.

All right, so we're going to jump on over to RTFKT's Discord. Now, if you want to follow this project, this is something that you think is cool, and you want to keep an eye on it yourself, by all means, subscribe to the channel, that's going to get you updates from me, but Discord, Twitter, those are your best options if you want to get updates from RTFKT themselves. And I think the Discord board is generally the most up-to-date information on all of this for almost everybody in crypto. All right, so as you can see up here, I pulled up the pinned messages, and it's going to give us a little overview of what's going on with the RTFKT or with the Akira project.

When Public sale will come?

All right? So dropped late September-October, I even heard as late as mid-October. We'll have to see exactly when they get all the final renderings and everything done. There's going to be 20,000 of these total, which normally would seem like a lot, but when you see what RTFKT products are going for, you'll realize that they're scooping this amount up easily. In fact, let's pull up real quick over here, 59,000 on their Twitter, so there are almost 60,000 Twitter followers, 10,000 peekings online in the Discord, and they got a good following. But anyway, so 10,000 of these avatars will be sold as a pre-sale, and 10,000 of these avatars are going to be sold in a public sale. Now, the pre-sale price they have announced will be 0.05 Eth, so very, very nice price for those who are getting into the pre-sale.

The public sale, we don't know yet. Obviously, I would expect them to be more, maybe as much as 0.1 Eth. I don't think they'll be hugely expensive, but you never know, RTFKT has sold some pretty high-dollar items before. Now, if you're thinking, hey, maybe I’ll get in and get into that pre-sale, how do I do that. Well, the way to get into pre-sale is you need to own one of RTFKT Akira NFT, any of their NFT products counts, there is a Mechakeys addition too, that also counts as well, but not as much. Most of their NFTs are going to get three opportunities to the mint at that price, the Mechakeys are going to give you one. But just to give you an idea, let's pull up OpenSea over here.

RTFKT Products

This is list of all RTFKT's different products that are for sale, you can see the kind of prices we're talking about here. We're talking six and seven Ethereum for these different things, a pair of shoes here is 7.7 Eth. So, even right now, after little bit of crash, you're still talking about a $30,000 pair of shoes, you're not going to get in cheap to get a shot at this pre-sale unless you happen to have been smart, and picked one up along the way, and you already own it, in which case, hold on to that puppy, make sure that it's not on OpenSea for sale, and that it's in your wallet. They have not announced the date of the snapshot with all these types of things whenever they make your wallet and your ownership of the NFT, that'd be a pre-qualifier to get into the pre-sale. 

That means they're going to take a snapshot of the blockchain. On that day, you better not have it someplace else, you better have it in your own wallet, or you're not getting whitelisted for the pre-sale. Okay? And, once again, I will update as soon as they come up with that information and give all the details. I will be glad to share it with you, but they're going to have the pre-sale, 72 hours long, and then, there's going to be an open public sale. Now, as I said, each of these is really, really high resolution. They are fully 3D rendered models, which are going to used directly in Metaverse. I've heard Decentraland for sure, Sandbox, hopefully, some Star Atlas, there's a variety of different, maybe even Cryptovoxels, we're not really sure.

Conclusion

So hopefully, we're going to get some more information on that, but they know what they're doing, the guys at RTFKT do. And so, I trust in them to make sure that this is usable in a lot of great places, and this becomes the character that you're running through the Metaverse, that you're traveling through all of these different digital worlds with, this becomes your person, your avatar, so these are going to be very, very valuable. NFTs are, even more, you know, can drop out from under you in the blink of an eye, but my deep belief, and if I can get my hands on this, I’ll get as many as I can mint because I believe, these are going to be both cool to have and valuable for the long run. I would like to have one from now on for when I’m exploring the Metaverse, to have one of these be my characters, and that's really cool, especially the Genesis RTFKT, man, it's going to be something people want. All right, and that's really about all I have to give you on it right now. As I said, the sale's coming in at the end of September or October. What is Mekaverse NFT?

So what is Mekaverse NFT? Well, let's take a quick look at their video. This will give you an idea of what the artwork that they've created is. As you can see, it's got that Gundam Japanese robot-style animation to it. But, I mean, really, really, really high-quality renderings. Look at the detail. Look at the variance between each of them, and the way they balance the colors, like, this is a crew that knows what they're doing and is making some really good NFTs. Now, usually, the question is what's the utility for them, we don't know. We don't know the roadmap or the utility. We don't know a lot of the details about it. Well, why am I so excited? Well, number one, because there's some phenomenal art here. I don't usually get that excited over NFT art.

This is one of them that I looked at and was like, wow, I would really love to own one of these. And then on top of it, you've got 70,000 Twitter followers in the course of about two weeks. I mean, these guys just came out, and it's absolutely exploded. Everybody I know in the Twitter space is talking about it. Everybody in the NFT space is following them, watching them, waiting to hear what's going to come next. These guys have absolutely destroyed it in just the blink of an eye. So that's one of the reasons why I’m watching this project already.

Now, what do we know about this project? Well, we know there's going to be 8888 of them made, so just a little under 10,000 of these Mekas are going to be out there. There are some giveaways that are starting to happen as they're growing it, but not a lot of details out on what's going to be going on with it yet. Here's a little bit about it. Oh, I want to show you real quick before I jump away – one of the best things about them too, if you look at the who's following them, this is their team. Julien, Mattey, Matt B, this is the team behind Mekaverse.

So guess what, they're self-doxxed. I know when I joined into any project, be it token or non-fungible token, either style, I like knowing the Dev team. It's not a must-have, but it definitely makes it feel like a much safer project. Well, they're fully self-doxxed.

When it will arrive?

All right, let's jump over to the Discord board, and you can see here, that this is just getting started. There's not a lot of information, they don't know the details of the minting other than that it's going to be sometime towards the end of September, maybe into mid-October, I’ve read elsewhere on other posts of them. So we got some time, we got probably a month or so till we're really going to be dealing and ready to jump out and buy this. We don't even for sure know what network it's going to be, whether it's going to be a Solana or an Ethereum, they haven't been clear with that yet. This is all information that's still to come, I’m sure there'll be releasing it soon.

But just from the excitement that you've seen that's coming, I can tell that it's something that's going to be pretty amazing, there are 60,000 people on their discord board, that's crazy, that is more than Aurory or RTFKT, or any of these others that have had their brand around for a long time. So for as quickly as they've blown up, they've really hit something in this space with design. Excited to find out what they're going to do with these Mekas, and excited to see where the whole world is going to go. But for now, we just don't know, and we're just going to have to sit and wait. All we know is they've made some standout art that makes them head and shoulders above the rest of these NFT drops that are going on every day, and it's going to take them in a new direction.

What is Star Atlas?

Well, if you've been paying attention, you've seen me talk about Star Atlas recently. It was a token I was very excited to see dropped, but it's also a game that I’m really excited to see come out. I’m not personally a big video game player, I probably will play this one just because I’m curious beyond belief about it. and this is Star Atlas. So Star Atlas released – they've been releasing for about six months different pieces of content here, and it's all on the Solana blockchain. So if you want to buy their NFT posters, you need Solana tokens. If you want to buy it on their new token drop, when they did the token sale, it's all on Solana.

Let me show you what we got going on in here. If you jump into the play here, you can see there are all these different wild and crazy ships, and they're going to be going on sale for it, there have already been posters that have gone on sale. But some of these, 72 of these ships are going to be available, they're talking about prices of 25,000 USD coins that people are spending, so there's serious money that's going into this game. When it launched, its token launched on three different sites, one of them here is one that I was pulling up to look at, this is where I tried to pick some up, it's called Raydium.

Brief information about Raydium

So Raydium had for this pool, there are two pools on Raydium, Raydium for this pool had about 123,000 people that had staked 69 USD coins each to try to get in on that, that's about $8 million in this pool alone. Then you got the other pool, you got two other exchanges, one of which had twice as much as this, and you're probably talking a $100 to $150 million invested. Plus, in order to just get a shot at this one, you had to have some Raydium estate, you needed 100 Raydium coins staked. So there's another 700,000, maybe, at this point, I think it's probably $1400-$1500 you'd have to put in to get a 100 rating points. So all of this is lots of money that moved into the Solana blockchain to participate in this.

Come to today now, it's being swapped publicly on the Serum, on the Serum DEX, that's the decentralized exchange that's on the Solana blockchain. And you can see right now the token's down a little bit, it's at 19 cents, it's been up and down and around, but it's only been here for a week, less than a week this token is old, and it's doing $100 million in trading volume on Solana every day. So you can see something like this, these games, there are more games coming out. Solana is fast and cheap, everything that's being a problem with Ethereum is the speed of transaction, and the cost of transaction, gas fees are berserk these days. But I was looking to buy an NFT the other day, and my gas fee was $150 just to buy this NFT, like, that's crazy.

Solana is the opposite of that, and it's fully established, it's not like Cardano, one of those that still has, you know, just rolling out smart contracts – smart contracts have been around for a while, there are exchanges, multiple of them, there are staking platforms. There are all kinds of different technologies being built out already on Solana, it's up and running and running fast, and that's why it was ready to grow when people ran into these problems with Ethereum. But gaming is a great one for Solana because you need speed, you don't want to pick up a new NFT in the middle of a video game and have it take seven minutes on Ethereum to record on the blockchain, like, seconds or less than a second. I think they can process 250,000 transactions per second or something like that, it's crazy, magnitudes faster than Ethereum.

Solana is faster

That's one of the big reasons that I think is driving this price, and Solana is these games and gaming tokens. The other big one as well, but it's the NFTs, man – NFTs are bonkers through the roof. This is Aurory, it's another gaming project, but it released its NFTs that were like character skins, about week ago it released them. I tried to get in on them, I know a lot of the people tried to get in on them. The floor price on them was five Solana coins per NFT that you were going to buy. So you assume, some people probably were looking at more than one, but we're just running numbers on one. They said that in three seconds, 350,000 IP addresses tried to purchase one. So 10,000 sold out in three seconds. There were 350,000 IP addresses attempting to purchase them.

If you do the math on that with five Solana coins each, 350,000 people, they were about $120 in Solana coins, that is $200 million in Solana that was in people's wallets ready for that NFT drop. And now they're selling on the secondary market for 100 Solana, a 1000 Solana. They're selling it for crazy values now. If you've got one, you're super lucky. In fact, you're super lucky because their contract messed up, and they had to sell them for one Solana instead of five bags, and so, they lost out on millions. But think about $200 million in Solana coins being bought up and put into wallets ahead of an NFT drop. Think about what that will do to drive the market. Now, you've got that driving the market, which makes the investors look at it and go.

hey, Solana, this looks like a great one, and that drives it, even more, well, now the next sale that goes on for the next NFT, people have to spend even more and it’s just pushing this up. And I think Cardano, it's going to take a little while for their ecosystem to develop. They're finally getting around to smart contracts, they're another fast, cheap blockchain. You do have Matic Polygon, which probably some of this is going to go on Matic Polygon. But it seems that Solana from the insiders I’m chatting with in the NFT world, this is where they're putting their faith and their hope that Solana is going to be able to do what Ethereum is not able to do.

Conclusion on Solana Price Prediction

Because Eth 2.0 is still six months, maybe a year minimum away, that might save it, that might finally get gas fees under control and get the speed up, but it could take a little while to roll out, this buggers ahead. So anyway, those are the two big reasons that I think that Solana price prediction is blowing up , the two big things people aren't talking about NFTs in gaming. I’ll just tell you what I’m doing with mine sometimes.

David: All right, aloha guys, welcome. I’m David here with Crypto Tutorials. We got one of my fellow LADZ City lads here. If you don't know LADZ City, it's the city of NFTs, and I’ve got Fun Uncle here with me, he's an OG crypto trader, going to share some advice with us. I know we talked a little bit at one point about this, but you have some interesting, I can't remember what it was called, it was a certain thing that allowed you to buy best price for multiple different exchanges with a tool, can you give me kind of a little rundown on that, because that's interesting?

Richard: Yeah, so it's called 3Commas, it's the number three, commas, and it is a trading bot algorithm that I think cost me 600 bucks a year, and what that then shows me signals, it tells me like what's a good buy right now, and then, what it also does is, so you can pair up to 10 exchanges with one app, and if you've ever heard of an app called HootSuite before...

David: Yeah, for social media, yeah.

Richard: So imagine just like that. where you can pair your Facebook and your Instagram and your whatever, your LinkedIn to it, and so, one post you make, can go out to all of them. It does the same thing where I can pair Binance.US my Coinbase Pro, my Bittrex, my Bybit to it; and, let's say, I want to buy some Shiba coin, it would tell me you're going to have a better buy opportunity on Bittrex over Coinbase Pro.

Bot can predict the price?

David: So you're saying that it can price out which exchange is going to give you a better price on this, how much of a difference are we talking about here?

Richard: Pennies. But if you're buying 1000 of them or a couple of 1000 of them, that's great. But then the other thing it does, because, for example, even if it is a better price somewhere else, I would have more money on a different exchange, so I'm like even if it is a penny cheaper over here, I’d do it with where I’ve got more liquidity over here. The real thing it does, it's amazing. let's say, I want to put-in a buy order for 25 cents, you can activate a trailing buy, which is one of the algorithms in the system, where, sure, I put in a buy for 25 cents, but it uses its bought to be like, oh wait, but the price is shifting down, so it'll actively put me in for 24, and then when it approaches 24, it puts me up to 23.

Doing that at supersonic bot speeds, faster than I ever could, and that's the real, like, that's the $600 a year just there, for me at least, because...

David: And probably they're going to assume on the other direction that you can trail stop loss it on your way up when you're riding up. So that when it turns on... Because that's totally one of the things that I’ve run into that there are just no exchanges that you can Bogged Finance has it a little bit for Defi, but it's all so clunky, trying to get a trailing stop loss because that’s great.

Bots are smart?

Richard: Yeah, and it does it both ways, like, if I put in a take profit at 10% or something like that, that shoots past it, it'll ride it until 17%...

David: Intelligently know that this is the point where this is where you need to get out and get something that's beautiful.

Richard: And the fact that, you know, because I’m pre-bots, I was trading before bots even existed, and you're competing with bots. If you're trying to trade on Binance or something else, those bots will beat you, and that's actually all they do is try to beat you. So, I was just like, all right, well, I got to get a bot, if that's the only real way to do it, and it took so much pressure and stress off of me, and I’ve actually had a couple of trades where I put them in and the bot just crushed it, I did not do anything, did not make the buy, totally stopped it and nuked the order.

I even remember like doing it a couple times, it was like, no, do it, like, do it, and it nuked it, and then the price tanked. And I was like, thank you for nuking the trade, you're doing...

David: That's really cool that it'll like literally be like, no, I’m so sure based on what I’ve seen it's going to go this way...

Richard: It's like don't.

David: You are not letting it happen.

Richard: So 3commas bot review, I guess, I highly recommend it, it's worth the price of admission, especially if you're using it. Go for it.

David: Yeah, for sure, I’m going to have to find out more about this one. This is a very interesting thing.

Richard: There's even a copy-paste function in it, where you can see a forum of the best traders, it's like, there's like a trader – I was just seeing the other day who did 25% in the last week, and you can just copy it, you could just like, okay, now I want to...

David: Just want to do whatever this guy does.

Richard: Right, whatever he does, now do it with my money too is a feature you can...

David: Interesting. So you can ride off of people who seem to know what they're doing, and they're doing well, that's cool, that's very, very cool.
