If you don't know, that is the Defi swap of choice for people on the Polygon or MATIC network. I'm going to walk you through exactly how to use it, all the features of it, and we're actually gonna do a demo of a swap on it. So if you've been interested in using this exchange, this is a great way to get you warmed up.

Tutorial about how to stake using QuickSwap
All right, time to use Quick Swap. I'm going to give you a tutorial, I'm going to show you a bunch of the different features. We're going to do a swap, then we're going to then create LP Tokens and we're even going to load them up and get some rewards started on it.

Be really careful and make sure you got to the correct url Quickswap.exchange. You want to make sure you don't go to the wrong site, because somebody could create a fake site and get you misled and steal your money.
We are going to switch to MATIC and Quick. I'm going to allow it to switch my network over to MATIC. We've got my MATIC balance showing up there. I've got it in my MetaMask wallet. Now what I want to do is get some QUICK token.
So I am going to pick up QUICK token. This is the native token for the QuickSwap. I want to put about 15 bucks in. I'm going to have to match that with another 15 and MATIC to create this pool. I don't want to create a huge pool. I actually have never done this before, so I'm excited to try it for the first time.
Quick is Expensive Token
We're going to want to spend about $15 in our MATIC and that gets us .03715 QUICK. What is the price quick these days? I have not looked into it, but Quick might be a very expensive token. Yeah, it's $450. Fair enough. That's how much Quick we're going to get to swap for 15 Matic. I have an article where you can know how to buy quickswap token. Liquidity provider fee is 0.045 Matic, about 5 cents. Let's do our swap.
15 MATIC and our gas fee was 0.02 Matic. Significantly less than a penny, as compared to an Ethereum transaction which would have been about four bucks. This is why people are excited about Polygon and MATIC. The transaction has been completed and we're going to sit tight and wait on our balance to show up. It shows one pending transaction. Once the balance is here, we can create our liquidity pool and then we can stake it.
It's complete. We can view it on the explorer if we want to, but we've got it in our wallet. Now you can see we have a balance of both MATIC and QUICK, and it wasn't a very expensive transaction. Now the next thing you can do, if you want to, is to go on in and pool it.
How to create pool?
I'm going to go to the pool here. I want to create a liquidity pool, create a pair between MATIC and QUICK. If I input one, it's going to balance it by inputting the other, because you have to input both. You can't create a liquidity pool of just one. It's a swap pool to make it easier for people to exchange, so whether they want to exchange Quick for Matic or Matic for Quick, they're allowed to do it in the pool. This Means you need to have both of them available to create that liquidity pair for them.
We are going to approve this liquidity pair we're going to create. There's a transaction fee. It looks like it is 0.005 MATIC almost nothing just fractions of a penny. We have one more pending transaction we're waiting on. After this, we should actually have a share of an LP, a liquidity pool share.

It's approved. A quick view of the block explorer shows it has been done. Now I just need to say supply confirmed You will receive 0.55 MATIC to Quick pool tokens. Yes. That's what I want to do. Once again, another very tiny fee 0.02 Matic. Super cheap transactions. Submitted.
We're pending one more transaction. It says add 14.9 MATIC and 0.037 quick. I now have 0.558 MATIC-Quick. I don't know if that shows up in my wallet. That's an interesting question. Under my assets. I don't think it does, but let's see if I can go put it into the rewards pool now.
The Matic-Quick. Deposit. Liquidity deposits. Deposit Quick version to LP tokens. Looks like that's what I have right here. I click on that to deposit and I want to deposit everything I've got and it looks like the daily reward I'll get is 0.0000943 Quick. I'm going to copy that number because I'm going to stick it in a really quick spreadsheet and just see what that ends up being.
Assuming Growth of QuickSwap in a year
Another tiny fee, and I have half of a Quick to Matic LP token. Clear to deposit $33. Like it said, I'm going to get this per day, which let's see what that is. Price of Quick 450 basically, it looks like about four and a half cents a day. But you know, that times 365 days, about $16 and 33 cents a year. Not bad for a $33 deposit.
If Quick and Matic both go up, I can still remove them and sell them at the higher value just like I would have any other asset. But on top of it, I've earned an extra $16 worth of Quick in the course of a year. So that's the point of doing the rewards and the pools and the staking. The tricky thing is if there is some sort of a flash hack or rug pull or something weird goes on here with QuickSwap. My coins are out there and exposed. They could get stolen in the process.
They're not secured in my own personal wallet, which I have control over, but there you go. All right. I hope that was helpful for anybody. That's pretty much everything you would do using QuickSwap. There's some charts you can look at over here and if you want to browse different tokens, different combinations, see what pairs are getting what kind of returns.
You can look at them ahead of time, peek at all the different pools and, all the different rewards, so you know ahead of time which pair you want to do. I did Matic to Quick, which is this 76% one.
I'll start building up some extra Quick just by sitting on it and letting it grow. I hope that was helpful, if you made it to here, you definitely learned something new about staking using quickswap. I would assume. So do me a favor and hit the like smash the big red subscribe. Please send this out to the world and I will keep making wonderful videos to help you out. Aloha.
